In 아, write ㅇ but do not add a separate consonant sound.
- You can leave it out of the written block — 아 and ㅏ are not the same written form. Keep ㅇ when writing 아.
- Always read it like ㅎ — ㅇ and ㅎ are different letters. 아 and 하 are read differently.
5. When asked to read 카 aloud, what do you say?
Answer: 카
The task asks for a syllable, so read 카. It does not ask for a letter name.
- The name of ㅋ — This task asks you to read a completed syllable, not name a consonant.
- 가 — 가 contains ㄱ: ㄱ + ㅏ = 가.
6. Combine ㅌ and ㅏ.
Answer: 타
Put ㅌ on the left and ㅏ on the right to make 타.
- 파 — 파 contains ㅍ: ㅍ + ㅏ = 파.
- 다 — 다 contains ㄷ: ㄷ + ㅏ = 다.
